Minister. Wellness guide. Young Living leader. Wife. Mother. Mohawk woman from Akwesasne. None of it was planned. All of it was called. This is how it happened.

Even before life handed me the hard lessons, I was reaching. Reaching toward something more — more meaning, more possibility, more for the people around me. That drive never left me. It just found better places to go.
I am Mohawk, from Akwesasne — the land where the partridge drum. I grew up knowing the earth was medicine. My grandmother walked me through the woods foraging berries, roots, and leaves. Natural healing wasn't alternative to us. It was simply how we lived.
In my early twenties, after surviving abuse, I found myself drawn to network marketing — not just for the income, but because I saw a way to pull people out of poverty. Native communities. Families like mine. That vision never left me.
A house fire. A stressful job. Personal struggles that had been building for years. My body finally said enough — and I ended up in the hospital.
Lying there, something became completely clear: I could have done something naturally to help myself. Nobody had told me there was another way.
"I watched him drive seven hours home from ironwork, pull into the driveway, and go straight to working on our house — whether it was seven o'clock, nine o'clock, or eleven at night. His dedication made me want to find a way to carry some of that weight."
That search led me to Young Living. And not long after, my aunt showed up at my door with a little bag of tiny bottles. I bought them on the spot. Not because I knew what they were — because something in me recognized them.
The oils were the beginning of one journey. But the goal — bringing my husband home — took another path too. We started a portable restroom business and built it from the ground up. And it worked. He came home.
For years I put Young Living on the side while we built that business into something sustainable. I never stopped sharing the oils — but the season hadn't fully arrived.
Now it has. My husband is at retiring age. The foundation is solid. And I'm returning with twenty-four years of knowledge and clearer purpose than ever.
"I never stopped believing in what Young Living could do for people. I just had a family to build first. Now I'm back. And I'm bringing everything I've learned with me."— Lisa Jock
In 2016 my husband had a near-death experience. It was the most frightening season of our lives — and the most profound.
We used nothing but essential oils and supplements to support him through it. Within six months he had a clean bill of health. That was not luck. That was twenty-four years of knowledge, deep trust, and a faith that had been building my entire life.
"He was so close to the creator that when he touched me, it just lit me up again. That love — I have felt it three times in my life."
That experience deepened everything. It confirmed that love — the thing I was shown at seven years old — was the thread running through every single chapter of my life.
